Our SOLTECH members, Dr Quinten Akkerman from LMU and Dr Jake L. Greenfield from the University of Würzburg have each received an ERC Starting Grant from the European Research Council (ERC).
Dr Quinten Akkerman heads the Quantum Dot Synthesis and Characterisation research group at the Chair of Photonics and Optoelectronics at the LMU Nano Institute.

Dr Jake L. Greenfield, Center for Nanosystems Chemistry (CNC), is involved in research of how spiral-shaped molecules self-assembled helices can can alter their properties under applied stimuli such as light.
